At least for a time, while we get better at our format, have a director and use a checklist. Almost everything gets done almost every week. But there's enough chaos with enough frequency, I'd like to suggest some changes.

As an alternative, we might consider having mock service and a real service every week. Eventually, we might need to have two services per week. (I can dream…)

Consider that the congregation provides, as a gift, candles for people to light. In service of people doing that, we should try to provide an atmosphere that's consistent with the marking of joys, sorrows, and concerns.

We should have the choir warm up Sunday mornings in Westwood hall, and have soft organ or piano music in the sanctuary before service.
