When you get in your car to drive someplace, you usually drive in the general direction of the place you're going, in order to get there. This conversation will not work that way.

Freedom is like Chinese finger cuffs: the more you try to get free, the more stuck you become.

Everything you do has a reason. Everything you do has a cause. You don't choose. You think you choose, you feel like you choose, and there's a reason for that, too. Everything has a payoff.

It's impossible for you to do something that you don't get something out of.

The conclusion is inescapable: you are a machine, and all you do is carry out the tasks you're programmed to carry out. You never do anything that is outside your programming. You never have. You never will. You will never operate outside your programming! Never!

Once that has sunk in, move on to the next point:

The world is made of, and run by, computers that are just doing what they were programmed to do.

(This is an enlightenment.)

Tell me, are you satisfied with the way the world is going? Do you like what you see in the world? Does it work for you?
